It is hard to imagine that a tea set could be the most interesting piece in the room, but leave it to Roseville Pottery to have produced a design so uniquely appealling as their Freesia pattern to do just that! With its vibrant tangerine brown color, exaggerated handle, and large freesia blossoms with long leaves in larger-than-life detailed relief, this tea set is remarkable.
Roseville Pottery introduced the Freesia pattern in 1945, producing a stunning line of wares in blue, green and tangerine (often called brown). All of the pieces are marked with the raised Roseville USA script and the shape number.
The beautiful Tangerine Freesia teapot with lid is marked 6, and measures a large 7-1/2" tall and 11" wide.
The matching tangerine Freesia creamer is marked 6-C and measures 2-3/4" tall and 4-1/2" wide.
The accompanying tangerine Freesia sugar is marked 6-S and measures 2-1/2" tall and 5-1/8" wide.
Our Roseville Pottery Freesia pattern tea set in the tangerine (brown) color is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
