We are pleased to offer this lovely Roseville USA American Art Pottery vase in the green Magnolia pattern. The Roseville Art Pottery operated in Roseville and Zanesville, Ohio, from 1890 to 1954, when it ceased operations. The Magnolia pattern was introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1943, making this one of the pottery's later designs. We think that the Roseville Magnolia pattern is especially beautiful: it features large white and brick-colored magnolia blooms on gnarled black branches, with a textured, granular green and brick background. The overall effect is striking!
Our vase is marked #91-8 on the bottom. It is a sizeable vase, and features a unique profile that will make it stand out on your display shelf. The handles -- which we love -- look very much like arms held akimbo, giving the vase a 'saucy' look! As indicated by the backstamp, the vase is 8" tall, but with the unique handles it measures 10-1/2" from handle-tip to handle-tip, making it quite a substantial piece. Our vase is in excellent condition and priced to sell!
