We are offering this lovely gold rose and daisy pattern vase produced by Pickard China. It stands 10-1/8" in height, has a 3-6/8" diameter rim, and a 4-1/8" diameter base. It is clean and in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, discoloration or wear to the gold. Speaking of gold -- as you can see from our photographs -- this vase has been painted entirely in gold, which has then been acid-etched throughout in a pattern of roses and daisies. The backstamp on this fine vase is Pickard's Mark 18, which has been in use from 1938 to the present day. It is, therefore, rather difficult to pinpoint the likely date of manufacture.
But who really cares about dates when the holidays are upon us and there are gifts to give? This vase is lovely. It has a pleasing classic shape with a pinched neck and flared lip.
