Rimmed in gold paint, these lovely Vintage Nippon Porcelain Hand Painted Peony Flower Design Oval Salt Dips measure approximately 2-3/8" by 1-1/2" by 1/4" deep. On a white porcelain background, a delicate peony flower embellishes the bottom left side of the Vintage Nippon Porcelain Hand Painted Peony Flower Design Oval Salt Dips in muted tones of greens and ivory, with a black center. Leaves surround the peony, becoming darker as they reach the gold painted rim, the background around the leaves becoming deep shades of a mauve and brown sunset.

The manufacture date of this Set Of 6 Vintage Nippon Porcelain Hand Painted Peony Flower Design Oval Salt Dips was between 1911 to 1921, as the Morimura makers mark is exhibited on the back; an M surrounded by a wreath, Hand Painted Nippon, all done in green.
