We are proud to feature a very large, octagonal antique French porcelain Délinieres & Company Limoges platter, painted in a stunning Art Deco design. This beautiful platter was produced by Délinieres & Company, which only existed for a short period - from 1879 to 1900 - making this antique French porcelain platter at least 112 years old! Based on our research, it appears that the green back stamp on the back of this platter was used by Délinieres & Company from 1894 to 1900. For those of our viewers who are history buffs, we would note that the factory operated by Délinieres was sold to Leonard Bernardaud in 1900, and was subsequently known as Bernardaud & Cie.
This antique Délinieres & Company Limoges platter, which could also be used as a charger, measures 12-1/8" in diameter on its straight edges, and 12-7/8" in diameter on its angled sides. It features a stunning design of pointsettia flowers, leaves, and an undulating opalescent ribbon that contrasts nicely with the pure white of the antique porcelain platter's center, and the broad swath of gold that runs along the outer rim. Aside from a few small glaze pops, this antique Délinieres & Company Limoges platter is in perfect condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks or or other significant flaws. This antique French porcelain platter will hold pride of place in a curio cabinet, and will make a stunning decorative serving piece or charger for a special event!
