If your shipping address is a post office box, or is in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the United States, shipping will be determined at the time of purchase. Please contact us for an estimate prior to making a purchase.
Most items will ship within three business days after payment has posted, unless the item purchased requires special packaging such as custom crating, or LTL freight shipment.
Insurance: Each package will be insured to the cost of the item purchased. This fee is included in the shipping cost. We package all items with great care, as it is our wish for you to enjoy your new found treasures for years to come.
Multiple Purchases: If you are purchasing more than one item, please contact us when you make your purchases as we may be able to ship multiple purchases in one package, and save you money.
Shipping Terms for Our Domestic Customers: The Antiquarians reserve the right to decide, based on package weight and dimensions, whether to ship your package(s) by UPS Ground, USPS Parcel Post or USPS First Class Mail, whichever option is most cost-effective. If you want us to ship via Registered Mail, Express Mail, Priority Mail, Overnight, or 2nd/ 3rd day shipping, you will be required to pay the additional cost of shipping. Please contact us via email or telephone if you have any questions or concerns about shipping.
Shipping Terms for Our International Customers: We appreciate our international customers and encourage their business! However, there are many laws that may affect our transaction, so here are a few important guidelines to consider when making your purchase:
•Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will vary depending on the size of the item purchased, the type of packaging required and the location being shipped to. We can only supply an exact quote once the item is packed and we have the exact weight and dimensions. If you are concerned about shipping costs, then please contact us for a shipping estimate prior to making a purchase. Otherwise, we will send you a second invoice for your shipping costs, and will ship your package when we have received payment on the shipping invoice.
•Customs Charges, Import Duties, Taxes: International customers please be aware that you are responsible for paying customs charges, import duties, taxes or other related fees for your item(s). We do not know the customs charges in your country and are not responsible for them. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making your purchase.
•Declared Value: The value declared on the customs form will be the price that the item sold for. It is illegal to falsify customs documents so please do not ask us to do that. Also, please note that packages can be held up in customs and take longer than expected for arrival. Unfortunately, we have no control over customs delays.
•Legal for Import: You are responsible for making sure that items purchased are legal for import into your country. We are not responsible for your purchases that may be seized by your country's customs offices. Please check with your country's customs office to determine its restrictions and prohibitions.

While we strive to find the most flawless items that we can, the plain fact is that the majority of the items we offer for sale are old and used. Thus our items will often show signs of wear commensurate with their age and usage. The Antiquarians cherish the signs of age and wear on their precious items because if one were to reflect upon events like the blitz of London, the American Civil War, and the outbreak of two world wars in Europe, one would have to agree that it is a miracle that these antique and vintage items are here at all. Those buyers who are only interested in items that are pristine and unflawed might consider purchasing new; there is a wealth of new merchandise to choose from that will beautify the home environment and satisfy the need to possess something lovely. For those of you brave enough to purchase something old and used, please be advised that the antiquarians do not issue cash refunds when an item is returned. We will gladly issue a merchandise credit that must be used within six months of the original return date.
