Eales of Sheffield 1779 Silver Plate Footed Relish Tray Three Glass Inserts & Forks

We are offering a magnificent Eales of Sheffield pattern #1779 silver plate relish tray complete with the three glass inserts and serving forks which are original to the set. This lovely vintage tray can be used with or without the clear glass inserts, and is equally beautiful either way. Supported by four ornate mount feet, this sturdy tray is flanked by two lovely foliated handles. Finely engraved decorations embellish the body of the tray, which are visible beneath the glass inserts. The bottom of the tray is marked EALES SILVERPLATE 1779. The piece in its entirety measures approximately 17" from the edge of one handle to the edge of the opposite handle, 9-3/4" wide and 1-3/4"" high (without inserts - 2" with inserts). The three rectangular glass relish inserts measure approximately 7-1/2" long by 3-1/4" wide by 1" high. The silver plated forks are 5" long and are marked SILVERPLATED SHEFFIELD ENGLAND PAT 1027708. All pieces are in excellent condition.
